I think I just entered the Twilight Zone....

Life just gets funnier and funnier.

On the 24th July, I wrote a blog entry titled 'Squeal like a pig? You must be joking, I do a great impression of a cow.'

It centred around an article in the Star Gazette, about the Troy Fair, Alparon Park in Pennsylvania in the US. Take a look at it and then come back to this entry.....

...done that? Ok - an article this week in the North West Arkansas Times gives some coverage to the Washington County Fair. Like the Troy Fair, it sounds great and I really wish we had more of this kind of thing in the UK.

Once again there'll be the usual agricultural stuff, plus live music and, yep, you've guessed it - a comedy hypnotist!

To quote the article, volunteers will be '...turned into movie stars, singers and presidents. "We will even have exotic people from other planets who speak only their own language...." ' says hypnotist Mike Reeves. Sounds brilliant.

Personally I think Saturday night sounds better though. Because at 7.30 the cows line up for the 'Purtiest Cow' contest, and judges will also crown Miss Beef Moo and Miss Dairy Moo.

Ah me - I love this stuff!
